There is no direct stopping facility in front of the hotel - therefore we recommend parking your car in the Marktstätte multi-storey car park opposite and then reaching it on foot (<1 min).

Thanks to its central location on Bahnhofplatz, you are in the heart of Konstanz and can reach the most important destinations in no time:

Main station: The hotel is located directly opposite the station. You can reach the station in less than a minute's walk (approx. 30 meters).

This makes the hotel the ideal starting point for exploring the city and the Lake Constance region on foot or by boat.

There is no dedicated space in front of the hotel for loading and unloading. We recommend parking your car in the Marktstätte multi-storey car park opposite and reaching the hotel on foot (<1 min).

Since the rest of the station square is a pedestrian zone and not accessible by car, we recommend quickly parking your vehicle in one of the surrounding car parks after unloading your luggage.

The hotel is in a prime location directly opposite Konstanz main station.

You simply cross Bahnhofplatz and reach the hotel in less than a minute's walk (approx. 50 meters).

This makes the hotel ideally suited for arrival by public transport (from Germany and Switzerland) and offers an ideal starting point for city visits and excursions into the region.

Your room will be available to you on the day of arrival from 4 p.m. at the latest. On the day of your departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the room by 11 a.m.

If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, please contact our reception team in advance. We will then be happy to check availability for an early check-in or late check-out. You can store your luggage with us free of charge.

A few underground parking spaces are available at Hotel Alte Post. Our reception team will be happy to provide information upon your arrival.

As nearby alternatives, we recommend the public car park Marktstätte (Dammgasse, directly at the hotel entrance), the Lago car park (access via Laube/Bodanstraße) or the Fischmarkt car park (access via Konzilstrasse) - both approx. 5 minutes' walk away.

In case of heavy traffic, we recommend the P+R car parks on Reichenaustraße.
